Still chance to ‘shoot’ wildlife

Photographers from Devon and those holidaying in the area are this month (November 2018) being reminded there’s still time to enter our wildlife photographic competition to win a break with us.

We’re running the competition into spring 2019 and are looking forward to seeing the different species that people have come across in the area and on-site. Spring is an ideal time for snapping insects, birds, bees and butterflies too.

The contest has been created by us to help raise the profiles of budding photographers. We launched it back in July and are asking for photographs of wildlife snapped here at Westward Ho! throughout the seasons.

We’ll choose a winner for each season and they will have their photographs framed and displayed in our reception for everyone to see. As well as having their work on display, we will also select an overall winner and they will receive a free weekend stay, outside the school holidays, for four people in our recently unveiled set of new luxury holiday homes uniquely available for all-year-round use.

Our multi-million-pound Lighthouse View properties are spacious and modern and have three bedrooms as well as sea views. These holiday homes are available to be rented by holidaymakers and are also on the market for £195,000 each, with a 99-year lease.

The closing date for entries is April 1, 2019.

We are asking people to submit low resolution versions of their pictures along with entry forms to with ‘Westward Ho! Wildlife competition’ in the subject title.

All entrants must have a high-resolution original or copy of their photograph for us to display in its reception should they be picked as the winner.

Further details are given with our entry form and rules. The winners will be chosen and notified after April 30, 2019.
